Treat yourself to a comforting and nutritious oatmeal rich in protein to kickstart your day on a positive note. Simply add the right amount of water from the beginning to prepare it effortlessly. This oatmeal thickens rapidly, so adding the right amount of liquid initially is the key.

How to Prepare Your Oatmeal

Begin by boiling water. Put your oatmeal in a bowl and consider adding a dash of cinnamon. If you’re using psyllium husk, hold off on adding it for now. You will add it after you have added the water.

Once the water boils, pour in 1/3 cup to the oatmeal begin stirring. Initially, the oatmeal may appear watery, but it will thicken as you stir.

A Little Extra Psyllium Husk Adds Bulk.

If you plan to include psyllium, add it after mixing the water to prevent it from becoming too sticky. The extra fiber will help you feel full for a longer period.
