How to Prepare Your Soup

Start by chopping up fresh vegetables. This soup pairs well with almost any vegetable. You can use up what you have in the fridge and freezer but don’t leave out the tomatoes. The tomatoes are a must-have and really elevate the flavor to the next level.


Once the vegetables are chopped add them to a microwave safe dish with 1 cup of water and your spices of choice.

The Secret Ingredient is Soy Sauce

Add in the soy sauce and microwave for 4 minutes until all the vegetables are soft. Alternatively you can add the ingredients to a small sauce pan and simmer.

Mix in the Soup Mix

Once the veggies are soft mix in the soup mix. Taste and adjust spices to your preference. If you are going to eat right away let the mix, covered, until the noodles are softened.

Make Your Soup Ahead of Time and Store in a Glass Microwave Bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Proti Diet Beef Noodle Soup

  • 1/2 cup chopped cabbage

  • 1/4 cup diced fresh or canned tomato

  • 1 cup mixed chopped celery, peppers, cauliflower chopped celery

  • 1/4 teaspoon ea. celery salt, Italian spice

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

  • 2 teaspoons of soy sauce

  • 1 cup of water

Directions

  • Microwave chopped vegetables, chopped tomato, liquid and spices in a microwave safe dish for 4 minutes, until veg is soft.
  • Method 2 -Add all your liquid, spices and vegetables to a small pot and simmer.
  • Stir in Beef Noodle Soup
  • If consuming right away microwave for 1 more minute
  • If eating later, cover and reheat at lunch for 2 minutes.

If you intend to consume the soup immediately, heat it in the microwave for an additional minute. Alternatively, if you plan to eat it later, cover it and reheat it at lunchtime.
