I’ve struggled with my weight all my life. I’ve lost significant weight on other programs, but lack of attention to maintenance, an attitude of “just let it slide, I’ll get back to it later” – meant the weight went right back on again—and more.
Finally, I’d had enough. I needed something to get me back on track. After seeing the results one of my in-laws had with Ideal Protein, I decided to go all-in on it. It was January 9, 2020, and I weighed 348 lbs.
A simple, easy-to-follow plan has always worked best for me, and Ideal Protein is certainly that. I just kept my focus – “eat the sheet”, as they say – and day by day, I got the results I wanted. My coaches have all been encouraging and insightful from day one, with lots of helpful tips and information geared to where I was at in my journey.
As of June 21, 2022, I reached my goal weight of 200 lbs – a total loss of 148 lbs. – and have since moved on to the maintenance phase of the protocol. It’s been a long journey, with some slips and detours, but I got back on the wagon and rode it home. I now look forward to no seatbelt extenders on aircraft, fully crossing my legs, and a longer life to spend with my wife, family and friends.
I highly recommend the Ideal Protein protocol to anyone who’s tried other methods without lasting success. It’s worked for thousands of people, and I’m pleased to be one of them.
