This week, Michele reached an incredible milestone. She’s officially down 50 pounds.

While that’s certainly worth celebrating, it’s actually not the part of her story that excites me the most.

Today, Michele is no longer diabetic. She’s off her cholesterol medication. Her fatty liver markers have dropped by approximately 50%. At her recent appointment, her doctor was amazed by how much her health had improved.

As a coach, those are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.

One of the questions I hear most often is, “What do your successful clients actually eat?” People expect the answer to be complicated meal plans and recipes. The truth is much simpler.

Most mornings, Michele starts her day with oatmeal. Lunch is often the IP chili, bolognese, or soup with vegetables. In the afternoon, she’ll usually have Ideal Protein Popcorn as a snack. Dinner is lean meat with vegetables, nothing fancy.

There isn’t anything magical about the menu itself. The difference is that it’s part of a structured plan. The portions are appropriate for weight loss, the meals are satisfying, and we make adjustments as she progresses.

As Michele got leaner, we gradually added more flexibility. Sometimes that meant adding fruit, a little healthy carbohydrate, or a bit more fat. The goal was always to help her continue losing weight while building eating habits she could maintain. Most of the time she stays on the protocol, but it helps to know she has some flexibility.

And life didn’t stop while she was losing weight.

Over the winter, Michele was away traveling for 2 months. She enjoyed her trip, came back, and simply picked up where she left off.

I think that’s an important part of her story.

Too many people believe that one vacation, one holiday, or one difficult month means they’ve failed.

Successful people don’t think that way.

They understand that consistency isn’t about never leaving the plan. It’s about returning to it.

Last week, Michele returned to full protocol, lost another four pounds, and reached her 50-pound milestone.

That didn’t happen because she found a secret food or a miracle supplement.

It happened because she stayed connected to the process long enough for it to work.

After coaching people for many years, I’ve noticed something interesting. The clients who succeed aren’t usually the ones with the strongest willpower. They’re the ones who keep showing up. They come to their appointments, they make adjustments when needed, and they don’t let a temporary setback become a permanent one.

Weight loss isn’t just about eating less. It’s about learning how to stay on track when life gets busy, motivation fades, or progress slows.

That’s where coaching becomes valuable.

Every person who walks into our clinic has a different starting point. Some need a structured protocol to lose weight quickly. Others need more flexibility from the beginning. Some need help navigating emotional eating, menopause, diabetes, or years of failed diets.

The plan should fit the person—not the other way around.

Michele’s journey is a wonderful reminder that meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight. It happens one meal, one week, and one decision at a time.

Today, she’s 50 pounds lighter….She’s healthier….She’s more energetic.

And perhaps most importantly, she’s living proof that it’s never too late to change the direction of your health.

If you’ve been thinking about losing weight or improving your health, we’d love to help you build a plan that fits your life.

Because the goal isn’t just to lose weight.

It’s to create results that last.
